Centrally located Oâsis Parque has the benefit of easy access to local facilities. There is a local bus service with stops on the resorts, and within walking distance from Oasis Parque are a few friendly local bars and restaurants located on the surrounding local Portuguese side-streets. Also within walking distance is a small local grocers and a few large supermarket around 10 minutes walk. These larger supermarkets are Continente in the Portimao Retail Park, Le Eclerc, Intermarche.

About 20 minutes walk is the new Jumbo at Portimão Retail Park, Aqua Portimão. Aqua Portimão, which cost 106 million euros to build, is now opened its doors to the public Boasting 117 stores, the shopping centre covers 35,500 square metres and is the fourth largest shopping mall to open in Portimão after the Retail Park, the Retail Centre and the Continente Shopping Centre.

Also there is also the cafe bar and restaurant located next to the Oasis Parque swimming pools which are open daily and in the evening, it offers a fantastic home cooked menu, with daily specials at really reasonably prices.

OÁSIS PARQUE is located just inland of the city of Portimáo near the Penina Golf Course. The journey from Faro to OÁSIS PARQUE will take approximately 45 minutes mainly along the A22 motorway.

The journey from Faro Airport Oasis Parque Country Club will take approximately 45 minutes. Follow these easy directions:

• On leaving Faro Airport, keep in Right Hand Lane signposted A22 (new motorway), N125 Faro (old main road along the coast of Portugal)
• Remain in right hand lane going under the footbridge and follow signs for A22 Lisboa / Portimáo / Loulé
• Continue along the motorway following A22 Lisboa / Albufeira / Lagos / Portimáo
• Continue straight over Rio Arade with THE NEW PORTIMÃO BRIDGE on the left
• At junction 4 turn off motorway signposted ALVOR A22
• Follow the M531-1 to ALVOR
• At roundabout continue straight along the bypass and straight over the next roundabout towards ALVOR
• Take 1st left signposted PORTIMÃO / OÁSIS PARQUE billboard on road
• Proceed up the hill and over the bridge
• Take 1st left just after OÁSIS PARQUE billboard signposted CHÁO DAS DONAS

Things to Remember Before You Set Off

You will need Passport and International driving license.

In Portugal you may use Euros, major credit cards and dept cards are widely accepted.

Taking the Train

Oasis Country Club is just 5 minutes in a taxi from Portimão which is just 30 minutes away from Faro Train Station.

On arrival at Faro Airport you have to take a bus to the train station, which is about 50 metres before the bus terminal.

There is no direct train to Alvor, take the train to Portimão then transfer to a bus or taxi to Oasis Parque which is only around 5 minutes away.

The 'Linha do Algarve' is slow but pleasant (much nicer than the bus) taking about one hour to reach Portimão, winding its way through the countryside before following the coastline near Alvor bay Approximately 10 Euros for the journey, last direct train is in the early afternoon so only possible for those arriving on a morning flight.

Taking the Bus

Getting to Portimão from Faro Airport can be done by Bus from Faro Airport Bus Station.
No direct routes from the airport; you have to transfer to the bus terminal (Estação Rodoviária) in Faro. The bus stop for the transfer is right outside the airport terminal and the timetable is posted on the sign. Buses are usually every half hour. Its 10-15 minute journey into Faro and you are dropped a few yards from the coach station. Inside there is a digital timetable of destinations and coach numbers and the ticket kiosk is opposite that. Taking Taxi Transfer

We offer you a smooth transition from Faro Airport to your destination by reasonably priced private taxi transfer. You will be met when you arrive in the Arrivals Hall by your chauffeur. The nearest airport is Faro, during the summer season a large number of charter flights operated by the tour companies swell the arrivals hall, but it’s a modern airport that has been expanded significantly over the last few years and transfer through baggage claim and customs is usually expedited quite swiftly.
